The Dental Implant Process
Getting dental implants is a multi-stage process that requires two separate trips to Turkiye, spaced 3 to 6 months apart.
Trip 1: The Surgical Phase (3-5 Days)
During your first visit, the oral surgeon will extract any failing teeth and place the titanium implant posts directly into your jawbone. If you lack sufficient bone density, a bone graft or sinus lift may be performed simultaneously. You will be provided with temporary crowns or dentures so you don't leave without teeth.
The Healing Phase (3-6 Months)
You return home while your jawbone fuses with the titanium posts in a process called osseointegration. This creates a rock-solid foundation for your new teeth.
Trip 2: The Restorative Phase (5-7 Days)
Once healing is complete, you return to Turkiye. The dentist will take precise impressions of your healed gums and custom-fabricate your permanent porcelain or zirconia crowns, securely attaching them to the implants.
Brands and Quality
Top clinics in Turkiye use world-renowned implant brands such as Straumann (Switzerland), Nobel Biocare (Switzerland), and Osstem (South Korea). Always ensure your clinic provides you with an implant passport or certificate verifying the brand used.
